Commercial roller shutter doors in Zimbabwe do two jobs at once. They secure the premises when it is closed and they carry the frontage when it is open. On a street where a shutter may be the only thing between the stock and the pavement overnight, the first job carries most of the weight.
Commercial roller shutter doors we supply into Zimbabwe
- Solid galvanised curtains where security matters more than visibility.
- Perforated curtains where a closed shop still needs to show a window.
- Aluminium curtains where weight and finish matter on a shopfront.
- Insulated curtains for cold rooms and temperature-controlled stores.
- Manual and motorised drives, with manual operation always available.
Security first on a trading premises
Security lives in the bottom rail, the end locks and the guide depth, not in the thickness of the marketing. A curtain that can be levered out of a shallow guide has not been secured. We build the locking into the door and specify guides that hold under a pry bar, and on a street-facing shop we do not water that down to meet a price.
Shutters that can be opened by hand
A shop that cannot open because the power is off is a shop that loses the day. Every commercial door we supply into Zimbabwe can be worked manually, quickly, by staff who have been shown how. On motorised units we fit backup so the door works through a normal outage.
Shopfront doors that look right
A shopfront door is judged on how it looks closed. We size the box to the reveal rather than bolting an oversized housing above the glass, run the guides tight to the frame, and finish the door to match the shopfront instead of leaving raw galvanising on a trading street.
Doors for smaller trading premises
A great deal of business here runs from single units where the shutter is the entire security arrangement. Those owners get the same guide depth, end locks and bottom rail specification as a larger shop, in a plainer finish. The security specification is not the thing we economise on.
Cold rooms and food premises
Insulated curtains with full perimeter sealing, specified for the temperature difference, and hardware chosen for a wash-down environment. On a site where a compressor failure is already a risk, a door that does not seal makes the problem worse.
Doors for lodges, hotels and tourism properties
Back-of-house, stores, plant rooms and staff areas at properties around the falls, the lake and the game areas all need secure, quiet, reliable doors that guests never notice. We install those in the low season and to the property’s own access rules.
Back-of-house and yard doors
Delivery and waste areas take far heavier use than the shopfront. Those openings get industrial-duty curtains and drives even where the front does not.
